Ca nouă postare de Anul Nou, adun câteva din statisticile din anul 2012 (în care am avut prea puține luni de bloguială). Îmi plac statisticile 😛

Cică ar fi intrat persoane din 39 de țări – deși pun pariu că numărul ăsta mare mi se trage de la cei care au intrat cu IP-uri ascunse 🙂 Majoritatea au fost din România (nu cred că surprinde pe cineva), SUA și Germania.

Cel mai tare mă distrează căutările pe Google. 109 persoane au venit căutând „bancuri cu apocalipsa”. 65 au căutat „bancuri despre apocalipsa”. Au mai fost și alte variațiuni pe tema. Și au fost câteva căutări extrem de simpatice, sau la care simt nevoia să răspund.

Author’s notes: I wrote this a while ago for a friend. It turns out that this blog has any number of spiritual people visiting, so as I was going through stories and trying to pick one to post here, I decided that this one would be perfect for all audiences.

I broke a few polite rules in writing this one. One such unspoken rule is that a character’s name shouldn’t resemble that of the author. Another says that characters aren’t supposed to look like self-inserts unless they are self-inserts. Those things make it so much easier for people to interpret and criticize, but I like having fun and seeing what happens if I do one thing or another.

„Sucker Love is Heaven Sent” – A Romanian Yoga Cult Under Investigation

In Romania, MISA has a dark and worrying public image: an orgiastic, pee-drinking yoga movement, full of strange, incomprehensible practices, spiral meditations, brainwashing and master-worship. The Movement for Spiritual Integration into the Absolute, founded in 1990, has often been featured in the media after it came into public attention in 2004 when the police broke into and searched a number of MISA homes in Bucharest.

The legal prosecution against MISA and its guru, Gregorian Bivolaru, includes accusations such as sex with a minor girl, tax evasion and illegal crossing of the border. Bivolaru escaped to Sweden, where he managed to convince the Swedish court that the violence of the media against him, as well as the context of a post-communist country and the unexpected and rough treatment MISA received in 2004 at the hands of the police involved in the searches were proof enough of his being persecuted in his home country. Due to this, he received political asylum and he supposedly lives in Malmo, Sweden – although former members point out that his actual location may be Paris, France.

The prosecutor of Florence has ordered 25 raids across Italy against the Italian branches of the Romanian association „MISA” (which stands for „The Movement for Spiritual Integration into the Absolute”), which were carried out in collaboration with the anti-cult police. The raids took place in Bologna, Florence, Milan, San Benedetto del Tronto and Bari on the sixth and seventh of December 2012 and have been carried out not only in the quarters of the MISA branches, but also in the homes of involved suspects.

Dacă te iei după Yogaesoteric, Cecilia Ghițulescu Tiz e un fel de super-spioancă SRI-stă, securistă, plătită pe bani buni ca să posteze comentarii pe net și să dea interviuri ca să distrugă MISA. E un fel de zmeoaică ce vrea să lovească în cei care i-au furat în preistorie soțul, o babă cloanță cu o falcă-n cer și una-n pământ care roade prin păduricile de misani ca să-l prindă din urmă pe unicul, inefabilul, extraordinarul maestru Gregorian Bivolaru – care e atât de perfect încât se luptă în continuare cu toate conspirațiile mondiale puse laolaltă și cu Cecilia Tiz aruncată peste ele. Legenda (inventată de mine acum, că am ratat ultimele legende din MISA) spune că dacă te uiți la destule filme horror noaptea, spiritul Ceciliei Tiz te va urmări ca pe o umbră de pe peretele camerei și-ți va pune microfoane în vaza cu flori ca să afle cu cine te-ai culcat astă-vară.
